WHY????? As a nurse and someone who cares deeply about public health, this just defies logic and human decency. And what a society should care about, and want to subsidize. I just don't understand the people who cheer this on as good policy.

Why do I sneakingly feel like they have absolutely no intention of paying the $155 in future cancer costs and just letting people die until there's a full-on 13th-century peasants revolt.

Not mentioned is the vast number of fraudulent Junk Science "studies" being conducted by these agencies. From "second hand smoke" to a supposed "gun epidemic," these agencies have been out of control for a long time.

It's a safe bet that Real Science will return, and the hiatus will only be temporary. This has been a necessary evil in eliminating the massive fraud perpetrated by these agencies.
