We have to give a major shoutout to our amazing Unbiased Science team member, Ilze Abersone, who helped create the content for today’s post and developed the infographic we published using Canva software. We are planning to disseminate a lot more technical scientific content on biostats, epidemiology, data science, and more— though we know these posts likely won’t have the mass appeal of our less-technical health-related posts.
We wanted to lift a curtain a bit on the post-development process. Below is the outline that Ilze used to develop today’s post. It took a few weeks to research the topic, comb through articles, and string things together in a way that would be understandable for folks who don’t necessarily have formal scientific training. It then passed through a quality-assurance process and was reviewed by senior data scientists on our team.
